How To Order
Mailing Your Photos

 
Step 1 – Choose your photos.
Choose your favorites photos that you would like to use in your slide show. The best photographs are good quality, in-focus, and horizontally oriented. Avoid photographs that are torn, stained, cut, or blurry.

Step 2 – Organize your photos.
Place your photos in the sequence you want them to appear in your slide show. Chronological order generally works best for most occasions. Number your photos, beginning with the number 1, by writing the number in pencil on a sticky note and placing it on the back of each photo. If you prefer, we can put your photographs in a visually appealing order for you, just indicate that on your order form.

Step 3 – Pick your music.
Select the type of background music you would like to use in your slideshow. You should consider the mood you want to create when making your selections. We are more than happy to offer suggestions. We accept song selections provided on music CDs that you own. If you do not own the music we can purchase it for you at the cost of $3.00 per song. If song is too long for duration of slideshow, music will be faded out at the end of the photos.

Step 4 – Fill out the Order Form .
Print and fill out the Order Form and include it in your package with pictures and music cd. Please contact us if you have any questions.

We accept personal checks and money orders. Personal checks must clear before we start processing your order. Work on your project will begin once payment has been received.

If you prefer to make your payment through a PayPal account, we will send you an email with a link to pay through PayPal.

Step 5– Package and send your materials.
To prevent any bending during shipment, it is best to ship your photos with cushion material in a box marked “PHOTOS – DO NOT BEND”. Bind the pictures together with a rubber band or put them in separate envelopes. To protect them from moisture place them into a plastic (Ziploc® type) bag(s). Include your music CDs if you would like to use your own purchased music. Enclose payment with photos and mail to:

If shipping overnight express please contact us for a physical mailing address, as most overnight shipping does not ship to PO boxes.

Always include your name, address, phone number and email address with your instructions inside your package. Shipping insurance is recommended.

Step 6– We will contact you.
When your package is received, a Dixon Digital Design representative will contact you to review your slideshow with you. You will then be sent an invoice to your internet email address. Payment is always to be made before slideshow production begins.

When your slideshow is created you will be able to preview it on-line on your own personal page created by us. Once approved by you, it is then sent to production to be placed on DVD format and then mailed to you along with any photos, videos, and other items that were sent by you to us to be placed in your slideshow.

Please Note:
Dixon Digital Design will replace any DVD that is damaged in shipping to you. Please return the damaged/defective DVD and we will send a replacement copy.

Dixon Digital Design is not responsible for music CDs damaged during shipping. Music sent to Dixon Digital Design must be owned by you. You (the customer) must recognize that all materials used in the creation of the DVD slideshow is not copyrighted by another individual. The materials contained in your Dixon Digital Design DVD slideshow are to be used for personal use only, and are not to be commercially distributed.

Dixon Digital Design has a no refund policy for DVDs. Only replacement DVDs will be offered.
